Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt in June 1929. With her sister and her parents, she emigrated to Holland in 1933. During World War II, the Frank family was part of the thousands of Jews who were forced to flee or hide from Nazi persecution. The Frank family and four others hid for two years in the annex of a house, to which Anna called the «»Secret Annex»» and the girl took advantage of this period of confinement, between the age of thirteen and fifteen to write a beautiful and impressive diary that placed her as a great writer despite her youth.
